The closest airport to Toledo is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) with daily direct flights from Newark or JFK.

Rental Car: The drive from Madrid to Toledo is less than 1 hour and there is free parking at the venue Cigarral de las Mercedes and free parking at Cigarral Santa Maria hotel. Rental Cars are easily accessible at the airport terminals.

Train: Through T4 (terminal 4 is connected to terminals 1, 2, and 3 through air train) you can take the Cercanías train to Madrid Atocha station with 1 transfer. Alternatively you can take a taxi cab from the airport to the train station. At Atocha station, the high speed rail to Toledo is roughly 30 minutes and is recommended over the bus. Tickets cost less than $15 one way (departing from "Madrid-Puerta De Atocha-Almudena Grandes") and it is recommend to purchase in advance as Toledo is a very popular day trip from Madrid. You can plan your trip in advance on the Renfe website.

Bus transportation will be provided from Hotel Cigarral Santa Maria to Cigarral de las Mercedes and back each evening.

Taxis are readily available throughout the city if you are staying at other accommodations and parking is available on site for those renting a car.
